Yoklar Artemis Yayınları'nın hesabında keşfettiğim bir seriydi ve daha önce okuyanla pek karşılaşmamıştım.
İlk sayfalar çok yavaş ilerledi hatta sıkıldım diyebilirim.Ama olaylar anlaşılmaya başladığında aksiyon da başlıyor ve kitap birden hızlanıyor.Öyle hızlanıyor ki elinizden bırakamıyorsunuz.Birden fazla karakterimiz var.Her biriyle ayrı ayrı ilgileniyoruz ve onların gözünden olaylara bakıyoruz.Bu benim için artı çünkü -daha önce Efsane serisinin yorumunda da bundan bahsetmiştim- diğer karakterlerin duygularını gözlem aracılığıyla değil de bizzat onların düşüncelerinden anlıyoruz.

This book gave me the ick. I just couldn’t get over the lord of the flies theme with babies and young children.

Gone definitely had an interesting premise. It's another one of those books that you think about when you're done reading, and it also sparked a good discussion with my 12 year old. I asked her what she would do if everyone over the age of 14 disappeared, and it was interesting to hear her answers.
There were a lot of characters in Gone, with author going so far as to start listing them a couple times. Like: "On this side, there was Sam, Astrid, other kid, other kid, other kid, other kid, other kid, and other kid." The problem was that, even though there were lots of characters, there wasn't a whole lot of variety. It seemed like the kids were either very, very good or extremely bad with no morality whatsoever. I believe there was just one character who struggled with what side he was on, but I found him so unlikeable that I didn't care about him at all.
But the story was well-written enough that I could get past my few problems with the book. Any book that I can finish in a day that's 558 pages has to be pretty good, even if it is YA and is a fairly easy read. Once again, we have a book that doesn't really have an end. You HAVE to read the next book if you want to find out what happens. Fortunately the second book is already out, so nobody has to wait around for it. Also fortunate is that the book was good enough that reading a second book isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I would recommend this one to fans of YA literature. Be aware that it's pretty violent and hard to read at times.

OMG i cant describe how i feel now. These book was awesome! I´m so happy my parabatai recomend me that.
My favourite character is Diana i dont know why but she is the queen bitch and i love that so much. the love story between Sam and Astrid was a little predictible but cute at the same time.
so you should read the book because i love it and everyone whould read this magnific book

I read this book when I was a lot younger and I just remember how it really scared me as a kid. SPOILER - The girl getting hit with a bat being the most memorable part of the book for me. Now that I’m older I’m interested in finding books that are scary and when I started to read this and found that part to be less scary although as I continued to read a lot of the parts began to give me chills. SPOILER - for example the kids that slow-mowed the boy disappearing, and seeing that it was a monster terrifying looking thing yet he was greeting it with a warm hug. That definitely was like wow chills for me aha. I really enjoyed the book and I’m excited to read the next one.

Second time revisited. Easily as good as when I read them for the first time as a teenager, maybe even horrifyingly more so now as an adult.
