Out of all the romance writers I've read, I've always liked Julia Quinn the best. This was not my favorite, the heroine was just a little too sweet and the hero a bit of prick considering what an innocent she was. But then maybe I'm just getting older and I don't want to read about obsessed young women and tortured but honourable men anymore.

I enjoyed parts of it and some parts were a bit annoying and blah. It is a historical romance set in England. The main character lacks consistency.I didn't like the way the story progressed.
