This didn't need to be a full-length novel. So much detail on things that didn't further the story and the story was very bland to begin with.
DNF'd at about 60% - it's not the book, it's me. I'm bored and I just am not wild about the narrator. At this point I've lost interest. I think it would be different if I were reading this in print, so take that into consideration when you sample the audiobook.
I do love this author, though - [b:On the Island|15505346|On the Island (On the Island, #1)|Tracey Garvis Graves|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1339162550l/15505346._SY75_.jpg|18151286] is one of my top 5 romances of all time. And the first book in this hack series was good. Sorry, Hack series - it's me, not you.

I am in love with these two characters! This book was my hands-down favorite of the series. And honestly, I want MORE. The entire story was addicting. I truly began jonesing to know more when I had to put the book down because life had to interrupt.
Kate and Ian are totally couple goals. The humor and wit, the ridiculously sweetness between the two. Full of steamy sensuality, this story worms its way under your skin, takes you for a ride, and won't let you go until the last page is read. I am totally super bummed now that it's over...

Another 5-star bestseller by Tracey Garvis-Graves!!!!
3.5 stars. This was the sequel to [b:Heart-Shaped Hack|25630718|Heart-Shaped Hack (Kate and Ian, #1)|Tracey Garvis-Graves|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1438179789s/25630718.jpg|45282421], which I read last year and really enjoyed. I enjoyed catching up with Ian and Kate and seeing where their lives together went. I felt like the book dragged in some spots and could have been a little shorter, maybe a novella. But I liked the book and I was glad to see how everything worked out for the couple.
I previously DNF this book. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was in a major book funk. So, I took a break from reading (gasp!) and it did me good. When I finally emerged from the funk, I picked up my Kindle which had this book open where I left off. I just started to read and the next thing I knew I was at 60%.
This book definitely gets better after the 46% mark.
I wound up enjoying the second half of the book. Overall, this book was a good read, but not great. I liked the first Kate and Ian book so much better. But I am glad I finished this.

It greatly pains me to say this, but I'm putting this aside for now. I adore Tracey Garvis-Graves and have enjoyed everything I have read by her. I pre-ordered this so I could get more Kate and Ian right away, but unfortunately, I'm just not into it. I'm finding it slow and the characters are not as I remembered. Its probably just me. I may pick this back up at a later time. Still love this author, though!
