This middle grade horror novel is a quick and engaging read. Overall, it's perfect for it's audience. Well written, doesn't talk down to it's readers, keeps the tone and quality through the whole story. The pace is good and the whole story is well done. I have no complaints about the book and will likely give it to my nephew for his birthday.

Incredible!!!!!!!! A beautiful mix of paranormal and very real, The Cursed Moon gripped me all the way through. I'm VERY eager to read more from Ms. Cervantes, this is the kind of masterful middle school horror that can be enjoyed for decades, I hope she continues to make many more stories like this!
