When I think of the Bridgerton series I am hit with a lot of nostalgia - I read them all as they were released so sometimes the memory of a book is better than the actuality. Or maybe its just that I've changed as a reader since I first read this series. I still love the Bridgerton family but this time around Benedict just really rubbed me the wrong way. I love Sophie and think that she's really sweet but don't get what she sees in him. He's a complete and total ass throughout much of the book especially as he kept pressuring Sophie to be his mistress. As with most romances this was a quick read and I enjoyed how it ended but the journey itself was a bit rocky.
