This book took awhile to get into, largely because there were SO. MANY. CHARACTERS. And so many subplots. They all tied in together at the end, which was honestly an impressive feat.
Once the story really got going, I was very invested! I didn’t love the solution, but it was interesting. It was a bit wild and almost unbelievable. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to pick up the rest of the series.

i enjoyed reading the book; the writing style is to my liking, though i think the pacing could do with a little work. however, i could not bring myself to rate this anything higher than 3 stars because the twist/explanation was just a little too out there.
