I think I would’ve enjoyed this book more if I hadn’t listened to it as an audiobook. I liked it but it’s not something I would recommend to people. I’m glad it wasn’t self helpy and was more of a comedic retelling of stories from the brain of someone with anxiety. I found that a lot of the thoughts and situations she was describing I personally related too and it was nice to know that other people feel the same way.

So read this book as I love her tiktoks! think she is really funny... but I am really not a non-fiction person!
Its funny, not laugh-out loud funny but enjoyable funny while talking about something most people have experience and did put my own thoughts in to a more positive light buy feeling at least I am not the only one who is feeling like this.
Recommend if you are struggling, or want to try to understand if someone close is going through it.

Giving it 3 stars :)

Very funny read! I do think the title is very misleading “an overthinker’s guide to life”. I had definitely expected much more of a guide, instead, it’s more  Hayley just recalling events from her life and portraying them. I did enjoy the book but expected and wished for something else from the title.

Came for the giggles (which I got) and left with ugly tears.

Lovely, lovely, hilarious read.
