Not the best collection of stories, but still a good read.

Review for Suffer the little children

Some really great stories and some really dull ones. I might have finished the collection sooner if it weren’t for the distractions in my personal life.

Not as good as Night Shift or Skeleton Crew. There were some great stories, but most were pretty average.

so many short stories so little time. some of them were very good! the first one about the car and the really fucked up revenge guy was good, also the doctor’s case. also chattery teeth. read a decent amount during work

I like Stephen King an awful lot, but he has three collections of short stories that are better than this. Not terrible, just not his best short work.

Last time I read this collection would have been about a year or so after its release. I didn't remember anything at all about a lot of the stories, even while reading them, but there were two that I remembered in perfect detail, 20 years or so later. Those stories were You know they have one Hell of a band and Sorry, right number.
While some of the stories aren't great by any means, there are plenty of good ones here too, especially the aforementioned two, and the opening story, Dolan's Cadillac.

A great collection of short stories that really are a wide variety of things and keep the reading interesting and fun. My favorite is Doland's Cadillac

My favorite stories are "Dolan's Cadillac" and "Popsy."

There were a lot of good stories in here! Standouts were Dolan's Cadillac, Sneakers, The House on Maple Street, The Ten O'Clock People, Sorry Right Number, and lots more. There weren't a lot that I didn't enjoy. That said, it seemed like there were too many and it took forever to get through. I enjoyed the baseball essay well enough, but didn't feel like it belonged here.
