Nothing wrong with the book just wasn’t feeling it. Might come back to it another time.

this book has a more cliché plot n writing than a y2k teen movie.. having read it feels like a waste of time now :/

This just wasn’t clicking for me. I tried to like this. I really did, but in the end I couldn’t stay invested enough in these characters and this story to finish it

I loved this book so much! It's funny, sweet, and romantic with just the right amount of spice. The characters were all extremely lovable (except for those who weren't supposed to be

I was way too excited for this book, maybe it’s me.

Things I enjoyed:
Finn. Hands down most adorable man in existence with his snarky daughter by his side. At first he’s portrayed as this broody giant. Then you hear that he’s talked about Aiden to everyone he knows and even looked him up on Facebook. He’s just too adorable.

Yeah that was about all I enjoyed which makes me so sad

Aiden was cute but forgettable

The side characters were…forgettable

And the story just dragged despite it being less than 400 pages

2 stars for my man Finn

Overall a nice summer romance. Both Finn and Aiden were a bit flat as characters, but all told it as a nice weekend read.

🏖️ I found the perfect beach read! I love Aiden and Finn together so much and appreciated that their romance wasn’t a slow burn. The way they treated each other was so tender and understanding. I think everyone needs a Finn in their life!

👬I enjoyed reading this through the eyes of Aiden, whose keen observations of people and their emotions felt so relatable as a neurodivergent person myself.

🌶️ As much as I enjoy spice, I feel like the closed-door aspect of their romance was nicely done and fit the book well. There was the perfect amount of heat! 🔥

🫶🏼If you’re looking for an inclusive romance with a lot of slice-of-life moments, this book is for you!

✌🏽Thank you Pride Book Tours and Entangled Publishing for the digital copy and a special thanks to A. Poland!
