I really enjoyed this. There were some gaps and it felt a bit rushed at times, but I'm excited to continue with the series.
The pacing in this book was a little off for me, and I felt like there were some small inconsistencies within the story. It also had some sections that were pretty repetitive. But I really enjoyed the story itself and thought the concept was fun. I would’ve loved to see more world building and better explanations of the magic systems too.

I have heard next to nothing about this series and I can’t understand why, it’s so damn good!
The character development, the plot, the romance and the magic system with all the plot twists A*.
It’s has everything found family, enemies to lovers, fated mates, hidden identity and royalty.
I felt towards the end it was very rushed, I thought it would continue within the next few books but with the plot over I was wrong.
