im really really glad that despite it seeming like they’re gonna use the miscommunication trope and have a big third act break up they don’t really do that which was nice to see

Hilarious dynamic between these two! I didn't realize this was a sequel (companion?) to Kit Webb so I'm going to backtrack and read that one as well, but the dynamic of a criminal rogue with a heart of gold (and a few stolen kittens) paired with the moody, headstrong noble appeals to me so, so much. I see now the appreciation for Cat Sebastian's writing!!
