Worst book of all the ones I've read from Cat. Rob is not my fave, Marian is great but circles over the same problems to many times before actually *doing* anything about them.

Usually Cats books end right at the climax of the story and I find myself wanting more, but this one drags and I find myself wishing she had spent the same effort on others that she did on this one.

Specific things that require a spoiler tag:
There's also the issue of how can they move Marians father to the Clare house if Rob isn't taking the title and Percy has abdicated. All in all, the question of succesion thread of the book was left at loose ends and its unsatisfying to say the least.

We also never get a satisfying conclusion to Marians issues with motherhood (the baby is well taken care of and loved by her friends, but we never get how Marian *feels* about it)

Liked this one marginally less than Kitt Webb, but enjoyed nonetheless.

A fun entertaining book with some excellent spicy scenes. Not overwhelming and probably wouldn’t recommend it to others. Found the characters to be relatively shallow and plot a bit boring.

for a romance, the sex scenes felt a bit rushed. enjoyed the story and characters tho.
