I really enjoyed this book. I particularly enjoyed following along as Marit grew to understand herself and the world around her. The internal journey that Marit takes alongside her adventures is relatable and I felt for her struggles and her triumphs. The ending was refreshing. I feel like many stories have a happy ending, but this ending where despair and suffering were turned to hope and peace was so much more enjoyable. The turn of outlook was palpable to me, and I couldn't help but feel better.
