thanks to netgalley for a free arc copy. this read was an absolute treat, with a slow burn romance that really worked well with the premise. the characters of wataru and saeki are both so nuanced considering how short of a page span the author covered, and their interactions are tender and sweet. so often the bl genre can teeter on exploiting or fetishizing gay or bisexual men, but this one does a good job expressing the teenage dilemma of dealing with one’s sexuality. i would have liked to know a bit more about some supporting characters. i found myself forgetting their names and they seemed more like scenery rather than contributing to the greater story. still a fantastic manga though!

Wataru x Saeki !!! Literally so cute. It definitely made me cry a little but this was just so wholesome.

The truth is that I did not have high expectations because it is a one-volume manga and although there are some very good ones, most of them do not fully develop the characters and this is not the exception, even so I liked it, it is a beautiful story, i highly recommended for those who are starting reading BL manga

Una historia preciosa que toma un cliché sobre-usado y crea una trama entretenida. Los personajes son fáciles de querer por lo humanos que son, lo natural que se da todo, y aunque el final se adivina desde el principio, es igual una lectura muy bonita.

A beautiful story that takes an overused cliché and creates an entertaining plot. The characters are easy to love because of how human they are, how natural everything is, and although the ending is guessed from the beginning, it is still a very cute read.
