It was alright but not really something I enjoyed. The POV was MC's so that was pleasantly different; but it also led to lots of tangents about god & religion since he's a priest. He was also portrayed to be riddled with guilt and self doubt even before he met the FC, which I understand was supposed to be a way to show that everyone questions themselves and makes mistakes, but it was all just a little too much. Also the FMC was not likeable to me much. I think she was supposed to be portrayed as a woman that goes after what she wants no matter how it looks to others but she often came across as foolish and needy almost. Thankfully it was a short story because I definitely had to push through some of it.

Father Bell take me to churchhhhh. Anyway, I saw a review about how they thought a priest would be falling in love LOL. do you not read trigger warnings? Or the blurb on the back of the book? This is not a cute romance BRING ON THE NEXT BOOK.
