The audio is absolute perfection. The narrators crushed it. I have no notes on their performances. The book itself was good, if not a hit predictable. It follows the general RH/why choose romantasy plotline that I feel I’ve read before. That said, it was fun and fast and had some elements that spiced up the story. It was a solid first book in the series! I am pretty ambivalent about Sunday at the moment, but I do see her potential and am excited to see how she grows and evolves over the rest of the series. The guys’ POVs were where it was at for me (shocker)! I loved getting little glimpses into the four broody brains of Noah, Kingston, Alek, and Caleb. The cliffy at the end definitely had me rereading a few paragraphs! Ultimately that cliffy is what convinced me to continue the series.

Being honest, this was a solid 3 star read but Father Caleb, the hot, Irish, vampire priest with a dom sadist streak bumped it up a star because

Really good, loving all the characters so far, great start to the story.
Occasionally (once or twice) things seem to happen out of the blue and my mind sort of had to scramble to catch up. Very minor and i think this was such a fast paced story that this was really to be expected.
Looking forward to continuing the series. The ending with Caleb was very interesting.
