Soldier dogs: attack on Pearl Harbor by Marcus Stutter was a great book. I would recommend this book to children ages 8 to 12 who are interested in military events and how dogs can be heroic. This book was about a stray dog who kept sticking around Joe who is the main character even when joe tried to get rid of him. But the dog (skipper) might have just been in the right place at the right time for a tragic event to take place, but skipper was there to help.
