This anthology has a special place in my heart since it is a collection of work by my critique group, our freshmen effort at putting together an anthology.
My own story in it explores some of what has always bothered me about the story of Goldilocks: her motivations. Since fairy tales are what got my love of stories started, it seemed appropriate to retell one.
All the other stories in it also use the cover image as a prompt, but the directions they go are as diverse as the writers themselves.
