This book is a beautiful story about fighting the ugly voice that keeps trying to give you a beat down in your own head and letting others in to help you heal.

This story is about Lola recovering from a toxic relationship.

There are numerous flashbacks to said toxic behavior, often followed up by Lola's reminders to herself that those thoughts aren't healthy. It shows how effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a support group can be.

Omegaverse books don't appeal to me but this book kept popping up in different recommendation lists, so I figured why not. Lola and the Millionaires was pretty good! 

I loved that Lola is a beta and comes with the baggage of being an alpha-chaser and realizing she'll never be an omega. The pack of 6 males she ends up with is caring, considerate, and patient with her.  While there are dark elements to this book, Lola's relationship with this new pack is built on trust and respect.  It's a very modern and positive polyamorous situationship.

What didn't work for me was the lack of development for all the characters, especially those in the pack. I found myself forgetting all the time there's supposed to be more than four in that group. Hoepfully we learn more about them in part two.

I liked this more than I expected. I didn’t like Lola in the first book but her character is actually great.

Absolutely love this book. I’ve reread it so many times, basically any time I need a comfort read. I’ll finish a reread and immediately want to start over again. It has the perfect amount of cute, romantic banter, and hurt-comfort moments. Also so well written! Lola’s trauma and development are so honestly written, and her group of guys are each unique and work with each other and complement each other so well.
