This book had its fun, mainly when following Roland, Jake, Susannah, and Eddie around. The addition of Father Callahan was fine, but I really disliked the long-ass monologue as he told his tale. It just drug on and didn’t feel relevant during read-through.

Overall, the wolves and the people of the Calla were interesting, and I hate some gut-punching laugh-out-loud moments with the fun pop-culture references (like sneetches and light sabers...). Good read.

I liked meeting the people of the Calla and that Jake got to play a bit more of a starring role. 

Getting closer to the core of the mystery now!

I forgot to update this! I finished it a while ago. I had to listen to the audiobook in order to finish it. I enjoyed it! I did think it was weird about the wolves... I won't spoil it for anyone but...well...you'll see. I like how more of the world is being explored and I really wanna know what happens next!!!
