Really great and fast read. Glad I got to enjoy it during Mardi Gras break from university. Japanese authors are just so pleasant.

what a strange book.
if you enjoyed no longer human by dazai or any other nihilistic, existential and satirical books — this may be the one for you lol
very easy to read and genuinely incredibly entertaining despite heavy subject matter. this really made me question the value of autonomy, the significance of dying on your own accord, and the irony of protecting something you care so little about so fiercely.
