It was an okay read but I had to skip through the ending because I was losing interest. It felt like I had to force myself to finish it.

Maybe I’ll finish it. Probably not, but we’ll see.

PS: who calls someone “baby” every 5 seconds after knowing them for only 3 days. No. Ugh

I really enjoyed this addition to this series by Shayla Black. Noah is fighting a scandal and never expected Harlow. Harlow is fighting scandal and never expected Noah. Now if they can learn to trust in themselves and each other. I really enjoyed seeing Noah fight for Harlow until he realized that she had to fight for herself and them. The journey Harlow and Noah took toward acceptance was well articulated by Ms. Black. The chemistry between Noah and Harlow felt real and honest. The emotions articulated hit home. Harlow was running scared and honesty with herself and her family made acceptance possible. But is it enough to move past fear? I loved finding out. I thoroughly enjoyed Harlow and Noah's journey. Ms. Black gave us a story that was honest, real and emotional. I enjoyed returning to this world and loved seeing old friends. I cannot wait to see where Ms. Black will take us next.

Harlow is a remarkable woman in many ways. So much strength and cunning yet hiding a world of hurt. She’s quick witted and a fast thinker. I loved the compassion that she shows and shared for other.

Noah has a dedication and determininess that can make just about anyone swoon. His love of family and life is refreshing. There was just something in his nature that made me really like him. Also being a sexy, athlete doesn't hurt one bit.

A truly remarkable story with two amazingly deep people. Noah and Harlow were made for each other. They complement each other in a way that allowed the weaknesses to be strengthened, allowed there strengths to shine and wounds to be healed. Noah and Harlow show what I think love truly is. A wave of emotions that overtakes, the complexities and work that a relationship takes and the bumps in the road that make it all worth wild. More than Love You is so much more than my words can say to give justice to a book I totally fell in love with.

I discovered Shayla Black when I saw her name of the attending authors list to my very first book conference. I made it a goal to read one book by every author that attended. Shayla Black is the one and only author that I have ever called out from work because I stayed up all night reading my first ever book by her and had to stay home to read the next in the series. It's somewhat needless to say that I fell in love with Ms. Black’s work from the moment I started reading. The More Than Word Series has gripped on to me in a way that her other books haven't touched. More Than Love You, in my opinion is the best of the three and now my favorite book Ms. Black has written to date.

A copy of this title was provided for an honest review.

Retiring from the NFL, Noah comes back to Hawaii to a newly purchased house and a beautiful woman relaxing by his pool. Harlow while house sitting for her brothers real estate firm, it hiding out to get away from another disappointing failed relationship. What starts out with the two working together to get through his health issues turns into more. But will the secrets from her past keep Harlow from allowing herself to love and be loved? Or will Noah be able to breakdown the walls they both have set up? Once again Shayla Black does not disappoint. This story was an emotional journey that had be laughing an crying. She masters the art of creating characters that the reader cannot help but fall in love with. Cannot wait for more of this series.

This book stands out from so many other because it’s strictly from Noah’s POV except for a single brief chapter at the end that comes from Harlow. Most books are dual but when they’re not, it’s usually her POV so this was a refreshing change. Noah is sweet and loving but a bit intense. He had a wicked case of insta-love but Harlow is totally anti-love and anti-relationship thanks to her awful parents and past men in her life. She made him work for it until the very end.

Harlow’s angst runs deep but it’s understandable once we learn more about her past. My only criticism is that it took a bit too long to learn the details. Since we’re not in her head, it’s not easy getting that information and we don’t have the full picture until the end of the book. I would have liked to see her open up a little to someone, especially Noah because I got bored with her pushing him away. She wasn’t my favorite character, although I did empathize with her. I loved Noah enough to stick it out, hopeful he’d get his HEA but Harlow’s need to keep the world at arm’s length was a bit much for my tastes.

So many things happening in this book. Finally getting Harlow's book was awesome and didn't disappoint. Noah is the perfectly imperfect man for her.
