I really do enjoy a good second chance romance but sadly, this book kind of fell flat for me. I didn’t see the connection between the MCs, hence, I wasn’t able to connect to the characters. The story is written in a past/present format and I usually love glimpsing to the past of the characters, this aspect is not well executed in this book.
