Not as strong as the first two books. I feel like this book is largely meant to transition the series away from London and on to bigger things.

No safe place, no surrender.

This is arguably the hardest book to read in the fact that its got some very triggering themes. Already knowing what happens to Paige and the torture she endures is not any easier when read a second time. But once again, Samantha Shannon writes an incredible story full of amazing characters. I am so excited to continue my reread of this series as it is just as enjoyable as the first.
