This book left me confused, and somehow also felt fresh, which I really liked. I enjoyed uncovering the layers on each character and for once I got the plot wrong, that literally never happens. I never once got it wrong, but this time I did and I liked it.

For my second Chelsea Ichaso book, it was pretty good, but typical YA kind of story and fun to try and figure out what happened to Piper while her sister does some investigating of her own.
Overall, a good read/listen to and if anyone is looking for a good YA book for their reader teens or in general, it might be a good book for them or you to read. In other words, you decide for yourself if you're going to like this or not :)

Seemed enticing but really wasn’t. I don’t know if it was just me (because I just finished a 5 star read) or what but i really didn't like this book. The main character was really dislikable and made me sooo mad! Everything was taken SOO deeply. Like it’s not that deep. The writing also just wasn’t for me beacuase It’s VERY straight forward. The ending was not good at all like she literally fell off the cliff like no one pushed her so what is the point?! the only reason i gave it 1.5 (which is still a bad rating) stars was because the plot twists of the characters were somewhat good.

Honestly it was a constant think it was someone then accuse them and find out you are wrong. And I mean she would think it is someone at the end of one chapter and then before the next chapter is over she would accuse that person. And honestly the mystery ending was so stupid.

I mean, it was fine. Hooked me enough to finish it, but it felt like the book started in the middle of the story and then the next couple hundred pages were basically “MAYBE IT WAS THIS” to quickly be told “NOPE NOT THAT BUT MAYBE THIS” and then “NOPE NOT THAT TRY AGAIN WITH THIS!” And sure maybe that’s all mystery novels, but it just seemed much less nuanced in this book.
