I honestly can’t imagine a day where I won’t completely adore jem carstairs. For many years I have adored this man and years later reading this book just confirmed why, precious baby.

- Cast Long Shadows: 5/5 stars
I. adore. Matthew. Him and Jem together was so adorable! But my heart goes out to Matthew so much I'm heartbroken for him he's so precious. And the Will and Jem scene actually made my heart break into a thousand pieces but also gave me serotonin. Overall amazing and devastating.
- Every Exquisite Thing: 3/5 stars
I didn't really care much for Anna and Ariadne, though Anna's journey with becoming more comfortable with herself was heartwarming.
- Learn About Loss: 2.5/5 stars
This was pretty boring overall up until the end with Jem and Will, which was worth it. Still teary-eyed thinking about it.
- A Deeper Love: 5/5 stars
ow??? OW???? I'm in pain,,
- The Wicked Ones: 3/5 stars
I found the perspective of Céline and seeing the workings of the Circle when it first started an interesting take, though otherwise it was a bit dull.
- Son of the Dawn: 3.5/5 stars
Maybe it was just because of how I don't enjoy The Mortal Instruments very much, but I found this one really bland and boring. The only highlight was Raphael, which as always was a delight to see.
- The Land I Lost: 5/5 stars
This was Everything I needed just!!!! So so soft and cute I adore this family. Lily Chen was an amazing addition and I love her even more than I used to.
- Through Blood, Through Fire: 3 stars
Ehhh it was alright. Not much to say about it really. Seeing Rosemary's past really cleared some things up and was tragic to see as it led to her downfall, and of course Jem and Tessa were lovely.
- The Lost World: 4/5 stars
Seeing Livvy again broke my heart and smashed it. I'm glad her and Ty still have one another and are moving forward despite everything, plus learning about the ghost aspect a bit more was compelling. And Mina! Precious dear.
- Forever Fallen: 5/5 stars
This story had EVERYTHING. Ash, Janus, and lovely moments with Jem, Tessa, Mina and Kit being a family!! The Thule was such a great concept not played out very much in TDA, so to see it here was really exciting. Janus is such a complex character and while I don't root for him, he still made me feel. I can't wait to see how it all ties into TWP and their roles in it. And Kit!! Seeing Kit get the happy family he deserves was adorable. Everything about it was just so so sweet and lovely. Overall a fantastic story to end with and bumped my overall rating to 4 stars.

I'd definitely read it again. Focuses on Jem Carstairs, an inherently good character that didn't receive as much appreciation or spotlight in the original books because of the fan base leaning more toward Will.
