Good series starter. I really enjoyed the Osborn books and look forward to the rest of the series. I think I first looked into Silva because his wife is such a great journalist. Interesting way to pick up a new authors work.
Allon is going to be an interesting one. This was interesting because history and fiction were so well combined. Looking forward to the next one.

3.5*

Fast paced spy thriller about the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Though there are a number of characters, they are all well-developed and easy to remember. Lots of twists and turns. A compelling story. I was a little disappointed in the ending, but it just sets us up for future novels!

I've already read a couple of Silva books, but I wanted to start from the beginning so I didn't miss a thing. Suspense with a side of political commentary and a dessert of art history makes an intriguing equation for Gabriel Allon books.
