This one just didn’t do it for me. Not only did I struggle through it t, but it was pretty easy to figure out how things were going to end.

I am such a fan of Layne Fargo’s work and the way her writing and story-building process keep you crafting your own theories throughout each novel. I loved how messy the characters were and the blurred lines between their relationships. This book had me sucked in from the first chapter — and really does a phenomenal job at describing obsession, addiction, and breaking yourself for your passions.
A circle-jerk of abusive narcissists trying to out-abuse each other. It was definitely interesting but I didn't absolutely love it.
