I have to echo what many other people have said and go in blind. I feel like this is just the vibe of the book… I legitimately don’t even know what to think after reading the last page and putting it down. This book draws you in and slowly takes you through the process but at the same time it messes with your head, and you really start investing emotionally and don’t even realize it. Honestly, just read the book… It’s a fast read and it definitely held my attention, but I honestly can’t tell you whether or not I liked it! Isn’t that strange? Go in blind and just enjoy the ride. I most definitely think that it truly takes you through what being an actor and putting on a show is like… but on steroids. As an actor myself, this was legit and definitely represented a darker side. I just don’t even know what else to say… Read it!

I wasn't a huge fan of the POV switching back and forth, but I got used to it eventually. I thought the book was good, but the ending was pretty disappointing. Overall it felt like I put in work to read it for not much payoff.

Is it possible to have a good week after reading this book? a good month? a decent year? my sources say: fuck, no

Temper is basically [b:If We Were Villains|30319086|If We Were Villains|M.L. Rio|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1480717682l/30319086._SY75_.jpg|45743348] on steroids. It's a dark psychological thriller about a bunch of morally-fraudulent thespians who obviously need psychiatric help. The ending offers more questions than it answers. It's terrible, you should read it.

it was a fast read because of the two character POVs and short chapters but there was no real suspense but somehow I caught myself wanting to read more and more
the ending was very predictable

Women be killing!!!!!!!!

i just wanna say: what the fuck.

hkgoldst's review against another edition

DID NOT FINISH

Read about a quarter in, read a couple pages in the middle, read the last couple chapters. Not sad/disappointed I didn’t read more. However I’m still planning to pick up her next one, that plot may be a little more up my alley

All I can say is - WOW! Layne Fargo absolutely entranced me with her seductive yet dark writing. I found myself in a constant state of foreboding while reading this book, yet I could not stop turning the pages - anxious for more.

I will not give anything away. I urge you not to even read the synopsis. When I picked this book up, I had forgotten what it was even about and it turned out to be the best thing. Go in blindly and savor every morsel. If you enjoy dark psychological thrillers - grab this one. You won’t regret it!
