Finally listened to this, on Tumblr.

There is no bad here.

Especially Samuel L Jackson's introduction, talking about occasionally having told his daughter as a little girl to "go the fuck to sleep".

You should definitely listen to Samuel L. Jackson read this!! For anyone, parents, sitters, grandparents, who has ever tried to put a child to sleep you will really appreciate the humor of this book. If you have the print copy, though, I would keep on a high shelf. ;-)

I love Samuel L. Jackson's voice, and his keen sense of frustration at the child's refusal to go to sleep is spot on - he really captures an emotion felt by every parent at this first indication of their child's independent will.

I am certain that I didn't always succeed in keeping the title sentiment silently in my head when my (now 9yo) baby did this!
