Some of these stories I really liked and some were just okay. I like Murakami's style of writing for the most part, but he doesn't write about empowered women, at least in this book.

My favorite was Kino and Samsa in Love. My least favorite was Scheherazade. The most thought provoking was An Independent Organ. The first one was Drive My Car and I know there’s a movie but I can’t imagine what it’s like at all
