I love the author's art style. This book was very informative and might make a good educational resource. It's great to see a work about bipolar disorder. However, I do think the overall layout of the book felt cluttered and disorganized. Some pages felt overloaded with information. I think this could have been fixed by adding in just a few more pages to spread out information.

I love hearing from other people with bipolar disorder because while I can relate, the experiences we have are so different. I have bipolar 2 and picked this up to learn more about bipolar 1.
It's so beautifully illustrated and written with so much care and love. The gentle narration paired with Keezy's artistic design and layout decisions make this short book so impactful and unique. What an incredible composition.

A short comic about Keezy Young's struggle with bipolar disorder, which they wrote in part to help decrease the stigma associated with bipolar. It feels like I've been reading a lot of books lately where the main characters struggle a lot with mental health issues, and I definitely recommend reading a variety of them!
The art in this was gorgeous, and I loved the way it reflected the subject matter. It looks like Keezy Young has another graphic novel coming out next year, so I can't wait to also pick that one up!
