I read Taproot a few years ago and loved it so decided to read this. It’s so beautifully illustrated. Keezy Young gives us a bit of insight into their personal experience living with Bipolar 1 Disorder. It was a short but incredibly impactful read.

Always good to read stories about things I don’t know that much about. I appreciated the honesty about how hard living with bipolar disorder is and the way people may judge. As well as common misconceptions. I also really liked the art style.

A short comic about Keezy Young's struggle with bipolar disorder, which they wrote in part to help decrease the stigma associated with bipolar. It feels like I've been reading a lot of books lately where the main characters struggle a lot with mental health issues, and I definitely recommend reading a variety of them!
The art in this was gorgeous, and I loved the way it reflected the subject matter. It looks like Keezy Young has another graphic novel coming out next year, so I can't wait to also pick that one up!
