I started reading Ruby Dixon way back when Ice Planet Barbarians was new-ish. And holy shit has she grown as a writer.
I think this is my favorite book she's put out to date. The characters are more "real" than ever before, their bond grows beautifully, and the romance just... it's beautiful. I absolutely loved this one, and I look forward to more Risdaverse books.

The most interesting this was seeing the other planets that humans are on and the way they are treated in this series. Maybe I should have started with the first book in the series because it took some time for me to figure out who the characters were and what was happening.

Cute, fun, lighthearted read. Lots of laughs. I appreciated the extended epilogue. I think I would like to reread this one.

My first Praxian book! I enjoyed a peak into it (even though he seems like exception). I like the premise of a bounty hunter kidnapping a spouse and her neighbor paying to be the one kidnapped, especially since she takes his courting as threats due to cultural differences. Cute idea!
