Feel indifferent to rating this book. There could be arguments for higher or lower, so I settled in the middle, just a little lower at 2.75/5.
I loved the characters and their unique personalities, but it was the plot (more like plots, plural) which let the book down. It didn't flow very well, leading into different problems that weren't too connected, and then they seemed to be miraculously solved.
The romance was sweet, but progressed far too easily and quickly considering the FMC's fear.
I liked the care given to their pasts, and the understanding between the characters, but this book could have been a lot more.

If you were mad you couldn't marry a khajiit in Skyrim, this is the book for you (Oh J'zargo, why won't you love me?!). Likable main characters (though the heroine was alarmingly naive) and a lot of humor in the MMC's attempts to woo a human.
