With its title borrowing from Lorine Niedecker's journals, Lake Superior—"The journey of a rock is never ended.... In our blood is iron from plants that draw it out of the soil. Your teeth and bones were once coral"—Alidio practices openness by abandoning the line (practice/open/line/abandon (111)) and standard syntax, placing queer love and loss not before all other things but among it and as a part of its ecosystem
