THIS WAS SO FUCKING BAD THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS WRITTEN BY A MAN
Elliot is the worst book man EVER like ew no absolutely not
Kate why the fuck did you keep taking him back ?
I mean the first 70% of the book is mostly torture and lots of yk what I’m so sick of reading how big of a yk what he has I swear just stop
The plot twists is the only reason this book isn’t getting 0 stars
DONT READ THIS XX

First book by this author! I haven't read the other books in this series so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Elliot and Kate have been coworkers for years, with a hate=hate relationship. They don't get along, they're constantly bickering and disagreeing and neither of them see that changing. However, Elliot sees a different side of Kate-one he really admires. They decide to try something together, but the catch is it can't be serious and it has to be a secret. This works before both Elliot and Kate realize they're wanting something more.

This story drew me in right from the beginning and kept me reading. I found Elliot to be a little too mean, but I think that was the point. Kate really stood up for him and herself a lot which I really admired. Elliot and Kate grew during the story and helped each other do that. Their relationship was sweet but holy, their fights were so immature it was laughable. The book had more humour in it than I expected which I really enjoyed! This is definitely everything you could want from a quick, spicy romance with some depth. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.
