I love the film, but this is better in some ways, in that the Ramona character comes off as less of a bitch. The dialogue and scenes are almost identical to the film, but the artist draws her in a more sympathetic way. It's hard to explain this in words, but there you have it. Hillarious, creative, and groundbreaking, this should be required reading for generation y type hipsters, nerds, video gamers, and graphic novel fans.

I see how Edgar Wright recreated shots directly from some of these panels and a lot of the film's dialogue also comes straight from these pages. I love the movie, I think it's brilliant and therefore makes me appreciate Bryan O'Malley source material as equally brilliant. What you don't get of course in love action film is O'Malley's art style which I absolutely adore!

I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to have fun. It's a really entertaining and funny story. The characters are all fantastic. I don't know if I could even pick a least favorite. I read this book in about an hour or a little less, which is semi normal for me and mangas/fake mangas. Reading this book was the perfect thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, in between my Veronica Mars marathon.

Scott Pilgrim is a bass guitarist that hates all other bass guitarists. This is just one of the many reasons why Scott Pilgrim is so awesome. And I'm sure you want to be awesome so you definitely need to read this book/series.
