Decided to read the comics after rewatching the movie and remembering how much I loved it. It’s a ton of fun to read, turning some literature tropes on their head while satirizing others. I’ll definitely continue reading the series; watching Scott Pilgrim fight Ramona’s seven evil exes is an immensely entertaining mashup of comedy, action, and romance! (Also these illustrations remind me a lot of the art style of Legend of Zelda: Windwaker; does anyone know if O’Malley was involved in that?)
