It was ok. Storyline was too much like a Lifetime movie for me.
I really liked the beginning, the setting, the mystery, but I thought the ending seemed a bit forced and unnatural. All in all though, I would recommend!

I think Beyah and Samson broke my heart bone.. and then put it back together ❤️
4.5 stars | this was really good, the relationship made sense, the male love interest wasn't so bad as in other coho books, I really liked the mc, the only thing I didn't love was the ending, however I'm also happy that the problem wasn't just solved in some kind of unrealistic way.
CoHo does it again!
Absolutely beautiful! Colleen really knows how to pull at your heartstrings. Loved every minute of it. She just makes you feel so strongly about the characters and wanting them to pull through.

i flew through this one; on the surface, it might appear to be just another young love story, but its heart is much more than that. it’s about learning to trust and forge connections after trauma. it’s about developing the bounds of family and friendship. and i especially loved the emphasis on solid communication. so often conflict comes from people just not talking to one another. and while that is present in this story, there are also really good examples of how communicating can mitigate problems, build trust, and deepen relationships.
