This is now one of my favorite books not only because it follows Nancy Brinker from her childhood until present day, but because I learned so much through her words, her compassion, her brilliance, and her ability to persevere through undeniable heartbreak and hundreds of obstacles I'd never dream of. I've always looked up to Nancy Brinker but now I can say without a doubt that she is one of my heroes. Thank you for writing this book and allowing your supporters to enter your life and organization. And thank you for keeping your promise to Suzy.

Inspirational and moving is only part of what made this a great book - and fyi, when you read it, have a few kleenex boxes handy. This book incorporated the science of breast cancer incredibly well, was an amazing autobiography of Nancy Brinker and captured the life and essence of Susan G. Komen so perfectly. I feel I am a better and more informed person after reading the book. Highly recommend it.
