i mean it took me a little less than a month to finish this........ the audiobook was the only thing keeping me on it but even jonathan bailey couldn’t save the shitty writing and plot. i’ve concluded men probably shouldn’t write romcoms or whatever they think passes as one.

Don't bother reading this. The main character is a whiny white man who is supposed to be 28 but acts, talks, and thinks like he is 15, the rest of the characters are two dimensional, and the jokes fall flat. It was a quick read so at least I don't feel I wasted too much time on this one, hence 2 stars instead of one.

Either I wasn't in the right mindset for this particular book, or it just wasn't for me. I kept flipping between complete boredom of the story and the main characters trajectory, and absolute frustration for the characters around him. Plus, too much secondhand embarrassment makes me uncomfortable.
