this one wasn’t for me :,( i was really looking forward to it, but i couldn’t ever get into it. i had a hard time connecting to really any of the characters and i couldn’t ever root for josh! especially since he wasn’t rooting for himself it seemed! i was also expecting some ~romance~ like some swoon worthy moments with the coin involved but there weren’t as many as i liked. however!!! i still found this book super funny and got plenty of second hand embarrassment from it quite a bit, plenty of laugh out loud moments and it’s a unique idea but if you’re looking for a romance or rom com don’t go into it expecting that!

he’s a stalker. he literally stalked a random girl through europe. i don’t like contemporary romance when its straight people. it was cute just not my type of book

funny lighthearted medium-paced

Not a bad book but it personally didn’t really pique my interest and I kinda had to force myself to finish. I like the storyline but it just felt lacking.

this was a fun simple read. and i love the idea of flipping a coin to make all your decisions! how freeing!

The Flip Side is the perfect read to escape the world for awhile. The plot is engaging, the characters relatable and easy to connect with. A nice summer read.
