I hadn't read Averie's book before this one so didn't really know what to expect, while I knew the tropes it was all unexpected but I have to say, I really enjoyed it.
While I understand why Averie kept Emery in the dark I did, in the beginning, find it hard to forgive her. But as the story went on and you got to know the guys and Emery as bit better it was clear to see why she'd done it. Emery was perfect for them and they needed to figure things out their own way. I enjoyed the progressing of the relationship and the growing trust that developed between Emery and her guys and I loved her Grizzly name!
Be aware of the TW before reading this if you are of a sensitive nature but also remember, this is fiction and a great story.

I'm allowed to have a favorite, OKAY?!

When I tell you I was manically giggling and kicking my feet at parts of this book ... So yeah, it's dark. There are things in here I may not want people knowing I read and enjoyed, but that's why reading is so great! I knew what was in store for Emery generally since I read the first one, but there were still plenty of surprises inside!

wow

Emery is definitely a fighter after being captured by the bears. The paintball game and rules were pretty dark. She eventually got some type of revenge . This book was short and dark. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book

Emery And The Grizzly Skulls by Sullyn Shaw is a dark why-choose mc romance. When Emery goes out to the club with a friend curious to meet the men her best friend loves, little does she know she's about to be drugged and kidnapped for a night with 3 members. Outside the kidnapping these men would be perfect for her. As they play a brutal game of paintball where the winner get to act out their sexual fantasy with the loser, Emery finds herself questioning if she’ll survive the night. The deeper she goes and the darker things get the more she seems to change. Will she emerge the night the same woman she came in as and does she even want to?
This novella is a 5 Star dark romance. Shaw does not pull punches when it comes to darkness in her stories and it works. I loved the characters they are complex, dark, and oh so yummy! Emery is a strong fmc that shines in this story. Despite what is thrown at her she doesn't break but seems to dig deep. However she discovers there are rules and this game isn't designed to hurt her but to strengthen her. I love the arc Emery goes through, resulting in a new her that is stronger, something her friend saw in her, knowing she wouldn't break but fight and thrive!
if you enjoy dark romance with age gaps, captivity, taboo, dub-con, BDSM, toys, MC, and super spicy content you'll love this MC why-choose Romance. If there are things that you cannot read please read the content warnings as this one is dark, diry, and delicious. This book can be read as a standalone or as part of the Grizzly Skulls universe.

Received as an ARC in return for my honest review.

Cinn what a perfect name for her. I truly enjoyed this story, she fought it and herself but in the end the truth came out. That ending definitely left me wanting more and with some serious questions.

Welcome Cinnamon

This book was interesting. It was good, but the concept was new to me, for sure. I enjoyed the FMC and her MMCs, watching their evolution of their ‘relationship’.

The ending definitely hints to me that we will see more in this series. Happy reading!
