i cannot describe how disappointing this book was. I was really excited to read this, the premise seemed interesting and it was so short, surely i would finish it in a day right? RIGHT??? WRONG!!! I hated the main characters. Lia was fucking creepy with her stalking journal, the romance was boring and I felt nothing for any of them. I’m used to the Police being stupid in YA thriller books but my god. No crime scene investigation? No dna testing? I don’t even remember if Lia ever had to testify or even talk to then police when she was a witness for a murder? The murderer made no sense

Why would someone murder people for their scholarship spot when THEYRE APPARENTLY THE RICHEST PERSON IN TOWN WHO CAN AFFORD THE BEST LAWYERS, MEANING THEY CAN AFFORD GOING TO COLLEGE?!?!?

god was this a disgrace, and the audacity to leave it on a cliffhanger when we really really REALLY dont need a second book. quite frankly the first one shouldn’t even exist.

Interesting premise. The execution was interesting for me she focused on the relationship between Devon and Lia way more than the serial killing. Felt like more of a romance the a thriller to me.

It was very obvious who the killer was also not much suspension or build up to the reveal.
