LOVED IT!! it was so much darker than the first one.

I listened to it as an audiobook and I LOVED the podcast parts.

I'm still in love with Ravi šŸ„¹ and I love Pip.

I can't wait to read/listen to the last one šŸ„¹

Another interesting mystery, though not quite as gripping as the first. I think it did a really good job of switching up the structure of the mystery to keep it interesting while being familiar enough that it didnā€™t feel strange

I wasnā€™t nearly as impressed with this as I was with the first book.
Unnecessary sequel.

SPOILERS:

- ā€œThe gun was always there.
It lived inside of her now.ā€ šŸ„¶
- the whole Charlie green and Stanley Forbes was a little ridiculous and soap opera
- liked how Pip is getting more and more unhinged (pouring the soda on someone, painting ā€œrapistā€ on maxs house, etc. ā€” totally shifting the ā€œgood girlā€ narrative !
- super entertaining as usual and the characters of pip, Ravi, and Nat r continuing to grow / develop (I didnā€™t see much growth from other characters tho)

W.O.W. After absolutely devouring a good girls guide to murder I couldnā€˜t wait to get my hands on the second book and I was not disappointed at all. The character developement? The way everything makes so perfect sense, the premise of the book and why Pip starts the investigations despite hesitation? The ending of the book and everything the reader gets to discover as the truth in the end? SMASH. While I was a bit sceptical in the beginning, thinking this couldnā€™t possibly be as good as the first one, this book had me hooked so soon, I couldnā€˜t put it down, the writing is amazing, the different characters, the whole idea- a huge recommendation for any mystery-fan and an awesome sequal to a flawless first book!
