It was great to see the story of gab and michelé, but I wish this was from gab's pov. and I kinda got tired of the diary format(I know it was popular back then.. but still)

It was nice to see more of Gaberiel's past; how his mom died and how and why he "lost" his powers. And yes, I was sad about his sister but honestly, I didn't really care about her story. I liked when Gabe was writing in her diary. He was a good brother but again, I don't really think I needed to know anything that happened in this book.

2.5 stars. This wasn't bad but it wasn't very interesting either because when everything went down at the end all you got was a summary in form of a letter. I wish this had been more twisted. It's supposed to give you some backstory on Gabriel but it doesn't really reveal anything new or add something to his character.
