We need Nabriel!!! It starts with the diary of Gabriels sister, who we already know is murdered by white witches, and in her journal we learn about how Gabriel got stuck in a fain body. then it follows Gabriel travelling from Tampa, where he had been living with his sister and father, to Switzerland to meet people to help him get his witch body back, but theyll only do it if he does some spying for them. he meets a boy and thats a sweet story but we are only interested in the angsty love between Gabriel and Nathan that we know happens in the trilogy and were pretty certain will become cannon judging by the posts on Sally Greens Tumblr. the story ends shortly after nathan meets Gabriel at the airport. It was interesting to gind out that Gabriel was in such a dark place, as was Nathan obviously, and we know they really help each other out of it. God I love this love story, although I cant say this short story added much to it besides knowing how much Nathan helped him without even realising it, and I guess it was interesting to see the love from Gabriels perspective, as from the moment he sees Nathan its as all encompassing as made out in the main story. This just enhansed understanding of the plot and background on Gabriels character development. Cant wait for the final book in the trilogy and will read half truths to see what that shows me :)

Oh Sally Green you break my heart. Even though i knew how the story was going to end i got so chocked at the sudden ending. Loved this prequel novel though ! Getting to feel the bond between Gabriel and his sister was wonderful.

GABRIEL, MY PRECIOUS SWEET SON.

Like, I didn't think I could love my sweet cinnamon roll more than I already did.

I was wrong.

I wanted to give this five stars but... there wasn't enough Gab. It all should have been Gabriel. But I still really enjoyed this and the added history. I know some people don't like the world building, but I quite enjoy the mystery. The why is this happening, why are Black Witches so bad, why do they hate each other thing. Oops.

Interesting style, but so lovely and heartbreaking again!

Re-read... short but so sweet, quick but painful.

Historia corta que profundiza en el pasado de Gabriel, pero esta saga sin duda no es para mí.
