Was also not prepared for the emotional depth of Usopp's crisis. That whole sequence was a surprising gum-gum pistol to the heart.
I needed a strong volume like this. Very excited to see how this all turns out!

Not a quick and quirky read. The story is getting darker in a new way and I appreciate this, but I am glad to know this series goes on and I have about four books after this one waiting for me at the library.
