It serves well as a vacation read where you don’t have to use your brain. I liked the first half, after that the story fell a little flat for me. Their relationship could have developed a little slower with more build up.

I am not a huge fan of any miscommunication or misreading people’s behavior and the fact that Olive hates Ethan because he looked at her funny one time is… I don’t believe it.

I really enjoyed this one. It felt just like an early 2000s romantic comedy movie. Both Ethan and Olive were just “good people,” and, other than Ami and Dane’s relationship, nothing felt high stakes or stressful. Just a good old summer read.
